You will want to pack clothes that are easily layered. Bring jeans or riding
pants, long and short sleeved shirts, boots with a riding heel (required), and a jacket or sweatshirt for evening. Hats and caps are optional but cowboy hats need a stampede string (for sale here if you wish).
Optional gear includes gloves, helmet, rain gear, chaps, casual clothes and shoes, coat (June & Sept), insect repellent, sunscreen, fishing equipment and a camera. We do have extra boots and rain slickers on hand, that you may borrow for the week.
Is available at Bozeman (100 miles) or Billings (140 miles) for $200 roundtrip per group of four. However, if you can, rent a car and soak up the scenery on your way. We are wonderfully remote.
We can't promise that every day will be sunny, green and beautiful, but we sure have a lot of those days. Here the horses are relaxing while the guests enjoy a picnic and a beautiful day.
As a general rule, July and August are fairly predicatable with 80 - 85 F and little to no humidity. Come prepared for a variety of weather in June and Sept. June is beautiful with wildflowers and Sept honors us with those crisp cool evenings.
Meals are home cooked and lots of it! From big country breakfasts to sizzling steaks off the grill, to fresh baked desserts, you won't go hungry. If you require a special diet, just let us know ahead of time. Vanessa White photo
Think green and come prepared to save energy. There is power 24 hours a day, but we cannot accomodate sleep machines. A back up generator is available for mornings and cloudy days.
There is a refrigerator, coffee pot, coffee and tea in each cabin and daily maid service.

Bonanza Creek clothing, hats, caps and gloves as well as gift items are available at our little trading post in the lodge.
Is available at the lodge at no extra charge. It is open 7am to 7pm. Please try to do your wash on a sunny day.

Massage Therapist Dayna Kopple has been coming to Bonanza Creek for six years. She has become a favorite of many guests as well as staff. Dayna knows many disciplines including Thai Yoga Bodywork, Soft-Tissue Injury Body work, Deep-Tissue Therapy, Aromatherapy Massage, Intuitive Healing Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki and Transformational Attunements.
But the great news is if you don't really know the difference in all of this, she has the wonderful ability to tune in to you and know what your body needs. Her preference is to blend many styles for the best treatment possible.
The biggest benefit of course is how wonderful and relaxed you feel when the stress is soothed away. Many guests, even ones in great shape, find relief from a treatment to help them recover from jet lag, high altitude, and achy, sore bodies after long days in the saddle.
Another way to relax is our rustic hot tub -- a natural hot springs back out in the hills. So don't forget your swimming gear. It is 12 miles away, so you will need your own transportation, preferably 4 wheel drive or ask someone at the lodge for a ride. Only the deer and antelope are around for company. Tami Wenzel photo
BYOB (Bring your own booze) is our policy. Each evening before dinner come and join us on our deck with a view for a social hour at the lodge. Light hors d'oeurves are provided. A good time to rehash those great moments of the day and perhaps enhance them a little! Donna Allison photo
Is not allowed in the lodge or while out riding.

You are here on holiday and to enjoy the peace and quiet, but if you need to be in touch, there is a laptop computer in the dining room for your use with Internet access. Additionally, there is wifi service in the lodge for your personal laptop. There is no cell phone coverage or television on the ranch -- hurray!
Is an American custom and recommended at 10 - 20%.
If cancellation must occur, 50% of the deposit will be refunded prior to April 1st IF that time can be rebooked.
